Libraversity – Your neighborhood learning resource center

This week I am into modular resources.

Todays learning resources can be compact and portable and contained in an iPad.

My concept for the Libraversity as a nighborhood learning resource center is modular and scalable.

Imagine a transportable 40 foot container containing

  • Satellite dish for media
  • Solar Panels for power
  • Scores of iPads
  • Locatable in parks, recreation centers & museums

Your Library cum University follows you making learning a enriching and adventurous vocation.

It is scalable as all that you need to multiply the number of units to accommodate your patrons.

Once could study under the stars, the trees, on the banks of rivers or even after dinner in the parking lot.

Would this be the education for the future?
